Avengers: Infinity War just got another IMAX exclusive poster that’s easily the best one yet. Marvel Studios marketing campaign for the upcoming superhero team-up film is well underway now. Two major trailers have released, and even more behind the scenes videos, TV spots, and clips are on the way. Infinity War is expected to break Marvel’s marketing campaign record. But considering that the film is one of the most highly anticipated movies of all-time, it’s safe to say that it’s all well worth it.

Along with all the promos and clips that have been releasing about every day, Marvel and their third-party partners have also been teasing the film with a handful of new posters, some highlighting the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes as a whole and others focusing on each individual character. The official Infinity War poster debuted a few weeks ago and featured virtually every major superhero and supervillain (though no Hawkeye), but it’s the third-party posters, like the recent Avengers IMAX poster, that makes an impact with its unique art styles. And now, IMAX has released yet another impressive poster for fans to gawk at.

The new Avengers: Infinity War poster first appeared as the header image on IMAX’s Twitter account and is now also the main and header image for the upcoming Marvel film on their official website. The poster highlights Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet, which appears to have both the Space Stone and the Power Stone that have been featured in the film’s promos thus far, with the IMAX logo in the middle of the gauntlet. This new poster stands out from the pack because of its minimalist style. So far, most of the film’s posters - even going back all the way to Infinity War’s SDCC 2017 poster - have been overwhelmingly crowded, which actually makes sense. Avengers: Infinity War marks the beginning of the end of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first saga, and it bridges together various storylines, spanning across almost two dozen blockbuster movies. It’s a lot to unpack, which is why the movie includes so many major characters.

Considering that this new poster is quite minimal compared to the last IMAX poster, which did feature almost the entire cast, it’s possible that this new one will be the poster that’s given to audiences who see the film in IMAX during the Thursday showings. If that’s the case, then the poster will more than likely be much shorter in length than the standard theatrical poster size. However, it’s also possible that this is merely a teaser poster for IMAX to use and that the actual IMAX poster that will be given to fans will be revealed closer to Avengers: Infinity War’s release date.
