Brooke Baily announced the death of the 25-year-old on social media on Sept. 26.
“Forever my baby, Lovely Black aka Kayla Nicole Bailey,” Baily captioned a carousel of throwback photographs of her daughter. “This is not a farewell. Mom will see you soon.”
Many of Brooke’s Basketball Spouses’ co-stars remarked on her post, including Shaunie O’Neal, who remarked, “Praying for you and your family.”
Brandi Maxiell communicated something specific saying, “Tear Kayla; we love you, baby young lady!!! I love you so much, Brooke!!!
You are so strong, and continue to confide in God to carry you through this tempest, sis!!! We are all here for you and your family.”
Former Basketball Spouses star Evelyn Lozada remarked, “Brooke, I can’t imagine the pain you’re going through during this troublesome time.
Please accept my apologies for your misfortune. My contemplations and prayers are with you and your fam #LoveYall.”
Jennifer Williams expressed, “Love you Brooke, condolences,” while British Williams remarked, “RIH pretty young lady! I love you, Brooke.”
Brooke thanked everyone for their kind words during this troublesome time in response to her outpouring of affection.
She composed on her Instagram Stories on Sept. 25. “My baby young lady is so cherished by all of youuuu !!!”
Added, “The affection and backing my family has gotten today is unreal and so appreciated.”
Brooke concluded, “Kayla made an imprint on such countless lives. She went into the room and demanded regard, love, and attention.
Assuming that you had the pleasure of meeting and being companions with her, she has forever changed your life.”
The cause of Kayla’s death has not yet been revealed.
