The Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle is set for release on February 18, 2020, and it will be available for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Bayonetta features the homonymous character as a protagonist: she’s a witch with a gorgeous body, long black hair and supernatural powers. Bayonetta wears a seductive low-back catsuit, but the enemies shouldn’t be fooled by her attractive looks, as she masters a particular style of combat, called Bullet Arts.  This means that she uses weapons attached to all her four limbs, which makes her attacks incredibly powerful.

Vanquish is a shooting game where the player takes the role of the hero Sam Gideon. His mission is to rescue an U.S. space colony conquered by Russia. The Russians turn the solar energy from the colony into a dangerous laser weapon, that they use to destroy San Francisco. Playing as Gideon, the user needs to stop the enemies before they destroy another American city. Both Bayonetta and Vanquish are M-rated.

Today SegaAmerica, the official YouTube channel of the video game developer and publisher, released a video announcing the upcoming release of the Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle. This ambitious project is possible thanks to the collaboration with Weapons Van. The bundle will be available in physical or digital format for $39.99, and it will include both the original games, remastered in 4K resolution at 60fps. Plus, its physical version will come in an embossed SteelBook, that will contain brand-new art created by artist Dan Dussault specifically for the 10th anniversary of the two iconic titles.

Pre-orders for the Bayonetta & Vanquish bundle are available starting from today, through major retailers. In particular, SEGA has a nice bonus in store for the PlayStation 4 users who’re planning to pre-order the digital version of the anniversary bundle. A Bayonetta & Vanquish theme will be available instantly for all digital pre-orders, but not from the launch date onwards. Additionally, a theme specifically created for the 10th anniversary of both games will be available for a limited time, up to March 3, 2020.

Given the popularity of the original versions of both Bayonetta and Vanquish, it’s expected that the 10th anniversary bundle will be a great success. It’s very likely that nostalgic fans will be enthusiastic about the new art by Dussault featuring their favorite characters. Also, many gamers will be happy to take a trip down memory lane, enjoying the same games they used to play 10 years ago in a more modern and convenient digital format.
